Panko Crusted Queen Scallops, 250g

Sweet and tender Queen Scallops crusted in a crispy panko crumb make an exciting festive canape. The panko provides a delightful crunch for the succulent scallops to create the perfect blend of textures and flavours. For the best results, deep fry for a crispy coating.

HOW TO STORE

1. Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C or below
2. Defrost: Defrost in refrigerator overnight. Do not re-freeze once defrosted
3. Shelf life defrosted: Store in refrigerator and use within 24 hours

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

​Cooking guidelines from frozen.
​For best results deep fry: preheat oil to 175°C
​Remove scallops from the packaging and carefully place into the hot oil and fry for up to four minutes until golden, crispy and cooked through.
​Once cooked lift out and drain on some folded kitchen paper. Serve immediately.
​Grill from frozen: preheat grill on a high heat.
​Oil a flat baking sheet add the scallops in a single layer and brush them with oil.
​Cook on the middle shelf of the grill for 5 minutes. Remove from the grill ​turn carefully and add more oil if required so they fry lightly, cook for a further 4-5 minutes until fully cooked. Serve immediately. Ensure product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat once cooked.
